Quarterly Message Summer 2011

The Time is Now
Loved ones, we greet you at this time with a very important message. Those of you who work with us often will know that we often discourage the belief in time. Time does not exist in the way that you on earth experience it while incarnated. However, because of your belief in it, it is very real to you. You cannot imagine in any concrete way what it means for there to be no time, even if you completely agree with the idea. So in your world, in your individual lives, you are still saying to yourselves things like “When the summer is over I’ll do ____”, or “After the holidays, I’ll get started on ____”, or “Just a few more years with the kids home and then we can do ____”. We want for you to take a look at that today. What is it you are waiting for?
Now, before we go further, we want to say that of course we understand your concepts as well. For instance, if you are diligently and spiritually saving money for your children to go to college, this might not be the “right time” for a trip across the world. Of course we understand why the physical waiting makes sense, because you live in a physical world and the handling of finances is very much a spiritual exercise (as well as a reflection of the state of emotions and many other things). However, that is the physical waiting. What we are saying is that you must take a close look at why you connect the physical waiting to an emotional/spiritual waiting.
Let’s use an example. Suppose you are saying “Well, I ate a lot over the summer. After the kids get in school and the holidays are over, I’ll start tackling this issue once and for all.” Ok, that’s sounds reasonable.  However, what your energy is saying in that situation is really “I don’t feel good about myself. I haven’t felt good about myself in a long time. I need to medicate so the holidays aren’t too upsetting, so I’ll probably be stressed out through all of that, and then I can place all my emotional energy on the usual New Year’s resolutions.” So the real issues are, “I don’t feel good/god about myself, but I’m too afraid to deal with that.” Then you must ask yourself, “Is there really another time that’s better than right now to deal with this?” No loved one, there isn’t. The time is always now.
Let’s take another example. Suppose you are saying “My spouse and I need a vacation, but we can’t afford to do anything until the kids are older. In the meantime, we’re stressed and unhappy and we don’t know what to do about it. Our finances keep us feeling this way and there’s  no end in sight to that situation until we retire in twenty years”. That is very depressing dear ones! Yet so many of you say these very things all the time. What the energy is really saying is closer to this: “My spouse and I have created a life based on what we thought were our values, but now we question it but don’t see any way out. We would rather downsize and have one car, but we don’t have the faith or willpower to actually do it. We are losing each other in the chaos of our lives. We don’t really need to get away together — we need to get real, right here and now, together.” Do you see, dear ones?
These procrastinations always (that is “all ways”) come down to fear. And fear is always overcome through faith.
Today, tell yourself that the time is now in regards to something major that is bothering you.  Listen inside to the real reasons — not just to the story your brain wants to tell you — about what is holding you back from feeling and being who and what you want to be today.
We send you blessings and light.
